MANUFACTURER’S APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS Start with a clean dog. Trim long hair carefully with scissors if needed, but do not shave. Apply lotion to the affected areas and massage into the skin until absorbed. Cover the area with a soft T-shirt to protect the skin and reduce licking. First seven days: apply twice daily. After the first week: continue once daily as needed. Bathing: do not bathe more than twice per month while using the product. ROMLAY PRO RECOMMENDS – WHAT OWNERS SHOULD EXPECT Through my work with dogs experiencing long-term coat loss and skin changes, I have learned how important it is to prepare owners for an intensive skin-care routine. DERMagic Skin Rescue Lotion has a rich texture and may become sticky, leave residue and develop an unpleasant odour during use. Protect furnishings and prepare washable clothing for your dog. I recommend soft, breathable cotton or silk bodysuits and pyjamas instead of synthetic materials that may increase friction and discomfort on sensitive skin. With Pomeranians and other double-coated breeds, the lotion must reach the skin rather than remain on the outer coat. I do not recommend shaving a double coat simply to apply the product. Monitor skin carefully. Mild, temporary redness can occur, but severe or persistent redness, pain, sores or worsening symptoms should not be interpreted as proof that the product is working. Exposed or sensitive skin requires particular protection from sunlight. In my grooming practice, I prefer carrying out intensive skin-care routines during the cooler months, while protecting treated areas from direct sun exposure.
